Applications now open for Chick-fil-A’s two annual scholarships programs:

Remarkable Futures Scholarships
Chick-fil-A restaurant Team Members in Canada, the U.S. and Puerto Rico can apply for scholarships through the Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures Scholarship program administered by Scholarship America.

Beginning this application cycle, the program will expand to include two application and award cycles: one in the fall and one in the spring. The 2026 fall Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures Scholarship applications will be open until October 27. Restaurant Team Members are eligible to apply even on their first day of employment.

  • US$1,500 Scholarships (Applications open fall 2026 and spring 2027)
    • To be considered, Team Members must have at least a 2.5 minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA), demonstrated care and community service, and a letter of recommendation from their local Owner-Operator.
    • Eligible Team Members can apply for the US$1,500 scholarship in both fall and spring application windows, with the ability to receive up to US$3,000 in scholarships annually.
  • US$25,000 Scholarship (Applications open fall 2026 only)
    • To be considered, Team Members must have at least a 3.0 minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA), demonstrated care and community service, financial need and an Operator letter of recommendation.

By the Numbers:

  • Last year, over 16,000 Team Members across Canada, the U.S. and Puerto Rico were awarded more than US$29 million in scholarships to support their academic goals.
  • Of these students, 22 per cent were the first in their families to attend college or university, and 39 per cent were multi-year recipients.
  • The top five majors for 2026 scholarship recipients were nursing, business, psychology, biology and mechanical engineering. While some Team Members stay at a Chick-fil-A restaurant for a career, others use skills learned, like teamwork, hospitality and leadership, to help with future careers outside of the restaurant.
  • In total, the 2026 awardees had a cumulative amount of over 2.6 million community care and service hours.

To be eligible, Team Members must be employed at independently owned Chick-fil-A restaurants or corporate-operated Chick-fil-A locations.

In addition to a US$25,000 scholarship, Chick-fil-A Community Scholar recipients are part of an annual cohort of leaders who receive a year of mentoring and professional development.
