The Brief
- The fan-favourite Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich is returning — exclusively in Canada in 2026 – and available in three customizable filet options, original, spicy or grilled.
- Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages are back and for the first time, can be ordered with Sprite®, offering a new tropical twist for Guests.
- Both menu items will be available at all Chick-fil-A restaurants in Canada for a limited time, starting August 24.
TORONTO, ON (August 17, 2026) – Launching August 24, Chick-fil-A is welcoming back a seasonal collection to its menu. Both familiar favourites, Guests can enjoy the last sips of summer with fruity and vibrant Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages, perfectly paired with the warm, savoury comfort of the Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich to usher in the fall weather.
Pretzel Cheddar Club is Back with Three Ways to Enjoy
The Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich features a toasted pretzel bun, lettuce, sliced tomato, cheddar cheese and strips of applewood smoked bacon. Guests can choose their preferred chicken filet to suit their taste: original, spicy or grilled. The demand for spicy flavours among Canadians continues after its initial launch in 2025, the spicy chicken filet option accounted for nearly half of all Pretzel Cheddar Club sandwiches enjoyed.
The sandwich is served with a rich, tangy and slightly sweet Creamy Dijon Mustard Sauce on the side that perfectly complements the taste of the pretzel bun and bacon.
Pineapple Dragonfruit Returns with a New Twist
First introduced in Canada last spring, Pineapple Dragonfruit is back for its second year and can be enjoyed in a new refreshing way: Pineapple Dragonfruit & Sprite®. The full tropical lineup includes four drink combinations:
- Pineapple Dragonfruit & Sprite® has the crisp and refreshing taste of Sprite® mixed with the delicious and tropical flavours of pineapple and dragonfruit, plus other natural flavours.
- Pineapple Dragonfruit Lemonade features classic Chick-fil-A® Lemonade (or Diet Lemonade) mixed with delicious pineapple and dragonfruit flavours, and other natural flavours, for a refreshing tropical taste.
- Pineapple Dragonfruit Frosted Lemonade combines signature Chick-fil-A® Lemonade (or Diet Lemonade) and signature Icedream® dessert with tropical pineapple and dragonfruit flavours, and other natural flavours.
- Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy™ is a combination of our Sunjoy™ beverage (Chick-fil-A® Lemonade and freshly brewed Sweetened Iced Tea) mixed with delicious pineapple and dragonfruit flavours, and other natural flavours, for a refreshing, tropical taste. This is also available with combinations of Chick-fil-A® Diet Lemonade or Unsweetened Iced Tea.
