Canadian entrepreneur says opening Chick-fil-A Masonville is more than a business venture—it’s a personal mission.
Driven by a deep commitment to his roots and a vision for positive impact, Michael Camporese is excited to embark on the path of bringing Chick-fil-A to his home province as an Owner-Operator. “Bringing a Chick-fil-A to the province I grew up in is deeply personal,” he shares. “This isn’t just about opening a restaurant; it’s about investing in the community that raised me. I want people to know that this location was built with heart, purpose, and a genuine desire to serve.”
Michael’s vision extends beyond serving delicious food. He aims to offer meaningful jobs, support local causes, and build a space that feels like home for everyone.
“This is more than business, it’s home. And my hope is that our Chick-fil-A becomes a place where people gather, feel valued, and leave a little bit better than when they came in.”
Growing up in Ontario
Born in Hamilton, Ontario, Michael’s journey has always been closely tied to the province he proudly calls home. Growing up in Ontario, he developed a profound appreciation for the warmth and resilience of his local community. This connection has only deepened over the years, shaping his vision for what a restaurant could—and should—be: a place where people feel seen, valued, and welcomed.
Today, Michael is happily married to Haley, and together they are raising their daughter, Ella. Family is at the core of Michael’s life, and spending time with Ella is his absolute favorite way to unwind. Whether it’s sharing a laugh at home, exploring local parks, or dreaming about taking Ella to her first London Knights hockey game, Michael’s devotion to his family shines through in everything he does.
Spreading Care in Masonville
Michael envisions an environment where every guest feels welcomed, respected, and uplifted. The restaurant will be a hub for community engagement, hosting events, supporting local initiatives, and providing opportunities for meaningful employment.
Michael is committed to assembling a team that shares his passion for service and his drive to make a positive impact. At Chick-fil-A Masonville, employees are more than staff—they are valued members of a family. Michael believes that happy, empowered team members are the key to delivering exceptional experiences for guests.
Part of Michael’s community-building approach will include participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table™ food donation program, through which surplus food from his Restaurant will be redirected to a local non-profit to help those experiencing hunger and food insecurity in London. Michael’s dedication to uplifting others is inspired by the community that shaped him.
“I want this restaurant to be a force for good—a place where we build each other up and help those in need.”
