Chick-fil-A
Shared Table

According to Second Harvest, nearly 10 million people in Canada face food insecurity. To do our part, more than 2,700 Chick-fil-A®  restaurants, including all of our Canadian locations, engage in Chick-fil-A Shared Table®, which helps local Owner-Operators donate surplus food to help feed those in need in their neighbourhoods.

Did you know…

Households account for nearly half of all food waste in Canada. This isn’t a problem anyone can tackle alone, but together we can make a big impact. Through more than 2,700 participating Chick-fil-A restaurants, 50 million meals have been served to those in need.

100%of Chick-fil-A Owner-Operators in Canada donate surplus food to feed those in need

106,000+meals have been created from Chick-fil-A donations for those experiencing food insecurity in Canada.

At the end of each day (except Sundays), participating Chick-fil-A® restaurants prepare and package their surplus food for donation to local organizations to help reduce hunger and food waste.

Our commitment to serving others

The Chick-fil-A Shared Table program is just one part of our commitment to Global Impact . Inspired by our founder’s belief that “a good company is a caring company,” we prioritize several initiatives that provide support to our neighbours, communities and the planet we share.

“As food insecurity in Canada has grown, it’s important to me as a local business owner to be conscious about how I’m conducting business and giving back to those in need in my community. The Chick-fil-A Shared Table program is a genuine, caring way to support our neighbours – and that is really what makes Chick-fil-A a leader in the quick-service restaurant industry. “

Our donations go to Windsor Family Homes and Community Partners—specifically to their Kids First Food Bank. Several Team Members told me they have to make use of this food bank in the past, so they’re very grateful to be assisting this cause from the other side now.
